Mischandra Endorsed: "Morning Joe"

If you know me you KNOW I am not a morning person.  Its long been a declaration of mine that I will only get up before 8:00 am for a flight and a fire.  But that's not exactly true.  I have to amend that statement to include my  morning obsession: MSNBC's "Morning Joe" show.  When I first discovered the show it was a serious effort to wake up to watch it Monday - Friday from 6:00am - 9:00am/EST  - THANK GOD FOR DVR!

I credit this show and my subscription to "The Week" magazine with expanding my worldview. "Morning Joe" features host former Florida Congressman Joe Scarborough and co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist.  Nowhere else will you find a more balanced presentation of views and ideas.  This show definitely allows me to appreciate the Republican/conservative perspective, as presented by Scarborough and understand the positions of liberal/Democrats as shared by Brzezinski.

The round-table discussions are equally both informative and broad reaching. Just this morning, the show featured  Republican Governor Chris Christie discussing education reform. Christie was on to discuss his work with teachers union and the $100 million he received from Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg to reform Newark, New Jersey schools, Bradley Cooper promoting his new move "Silver Lining" and author Ken Burns discussing his new book and documentary "Dust Bowl" about the dust storms of the 1930s.
